As Tropical Storm Lee hits the Gulf coast, we were being hammered with wind and rain.
I worked half day on Friday. Spent time with Rob while the kids were in school. We went out shopping for jeans and shirts for him. We babysat for a friend (it was her birthday) so her hubby and her could enjoy a nice dinner together.
Saturday, the weather got ugly. I pulled out my Kindle and loaded a few books to my wishlist. I bought The Help. I laid back and read most of the day.
Sunday, I continued to read. Here I am on Monday, almost done. Rob says "is it worth spending money to buy a book and read it all in 2 or so days"?
Yup, I love getting a book that catches my attention this way. I don't want to put it down.
I'm eager to finish now and then be able to see the movie.
