I'm a big jerk. Today I was going to go to the meeting to begin substitute teaching but forgot about it until fifteen minutes before it was supposed to start. Seeing as I was still in pj's because I was planning on sewing until I have to go to work tonight, I knew that I wouldn't make it in fifteen minutes.

Oh well, I guess my sewing is more important right now because I have three costumes I'm getting paid to make that need to be done as soon as possible. I'm making three Matrix style trenchcoats for my high school dance teacher's twin daughters and one of their friends. I'm mostly done with two of them and was planning on starting the third today. I need to make part of Jeremy's costume as well but it should be pretty easy so I'm not worried about it. With all the other costumes, I don't think I'm going to make one for myself this year like I have done for the past several years. I'm a little sad about that, but I haven't even been able to totally settle on what I want to be so I that just adds to me not having time to make it.

Some girl has been putting up a fuss over at sew_hip about whether or not to share her fleece boa pattern since she is selling the boas that she made. She ended up sharing since she got the idea from some that she saw at a craft fair. I haven't yet jumped in to tell her that Hancock's has a free handout on how to make them because I haven't decided whether or not I want to put her in her place that she in no way created the pattern. I guess I'll just wait and see how her attitude goes. I did do that to someone over at unejupe not that long ago when she tried to make her halloween fabric sound hard to get when we've got it Hancock's right now. I just don't like people trying to get snobby about things like fleece and halloween fabric in front of me. It's my business, you aren't going to impress me with common things like that.

How easy is it to make banana bread? Is it something that someone whose never baked anything unless it was something that came in a box like cupcakes and brownies could make without too much difficulty? I want to make some, but baking is one stereotypically female hobby I have yet to really try.

I need lunch. Later tators.
