my parents are finally back home. our parish is still without power and will be for the next 3 weeks most likely but they bought a generator and 2 a.c. units so they're actually quite content. i make sure to call them everyday to make sure they're ok and aren't killing each other. my mom's a little bored since she won't be back at work for a few weeks still. the building got damaged so they can't go back until everything is fixed. the times called her to throw papers but she more or less told them to kiss her pretty white butt because conditions still aren't the safest. she's had to call the cops at least 5 times throwing papers. if something were to happen at the moment, no one would be able to come. she thinks she'll lose that job but i'm not too worried. there's a lot of people who aren't doing it either, not to mention people are home to read it. as if we didn't have enough trash lying around. so anyway, our house had little damage and all of our trees in the backyard are gone. i'm really going to miss those because it was beautiful back there. mom says the insurance company will probably take care of getting rid of them. she says we'll also have to claim our camper that was blown away with all of the papers in it, our pool that was filled with dirt and grass and the fence that you can't even tell existed! i'm glad she still has humor in such a dark time. so anyway, let me tell you how explosions are part of this. the power has been out for almost a week before my parents returned. we have two refrigerators, one in and one out. the outside one we keep our frozen meats in b/c the inside fridge is too small. so my mom goes to investigate the freezer, clean it out. the frozen turkey and chicken EXPLODED inside the freezer. like raw pieces were all over the inside and the smell was extrodinary. absolutely disgusting. so needless to say, we're throwing that fridge away because it's just nasty. i found it quite interesting. right up there with the knowledge that penicillin grows on rotten oranges and cantalopes.
what else to report on? kara's bday is this weekend and we have a very special girls only thing. sorry david but you wouldn't want to go anyway. omg all i have to say is praise be to club renaissance and playgirl playmates and latex. lol
ok so that's about all i've got to say. time to go back to homework land and eat me some lunch.
