Yesterday
Last night was awesome. I had such a great time. Me, Jeremy, Ashley, Andy, and Adam (we tried calling you Savy!) all went sledding on Western Campus, by the Lodge. It was snowing like crazy, and by the time we got there there were already some people there. Adam and Jeremy set to work at making an awesome ramp (I flew off my sled about every time I went flying over it - but I did get some sweet air!)
It was just so much fun. I wasn't too cold because I wore a ridiculous amount of layers. Everyone got beat up a little bit (Jeremys sled flew into my lip, I crunched my foot, Ashley banged her head, and Adam kept falling down trying to snowboard) but it was great.
At one point Jeremy and I decided it would be a good idea to go down linking arms, each on our own sled. Well, we were fine, went down the hill super fast with Ashley yelling "Happy Anniversary" after us (3 years yesterday!), but when Jeremy flew off his sled, it flew into my lip. Ouch. But it was fun :)
And then Ashley and I went down together, holding on at first. We decided to let go half way down the hill, but she turned around backward in her sled and my sled was like pushing hers. We went over the ramp together, and Ashley flew off and hit her head. Ouch. But it was fun too :)
Anyway, yay for snow in Oxford. Granted I don't like to have to drive in it, but it is mucho fun to play in. I am so glad I went last night. My foot is hurting pretty bad today but it was so worth it!
I am going to get off here to go pack for me and Jeremy's little out-of-town-anniversary-adventure tonight. MMMmmm Can't wait for Montgomery Inn and swimming in a pool! Yes!
