So here's something I've been thinking about - when you choke on a piece of food, and it "goes down the wrong pipe," so to speak, where does it actually go? Does go into your lungs? Does it say there forever? Or does it somehow get shuttled to your stomach as was originally intended? Do those little peices of food build up over time? Is there any way to get them out? How about liquids? What happens to them?
These things keep me up at night.
