The Revenge of the Return of the Creepy Old Woman! D:
So, yeah, the creepy old woman returned today. With just one of her... offspring? :s
There was less of the incredibly uncomfortable 'will you destroy any sense of self worth my daughter/granddaughter (I'm not sure which any more) may have by taking an interest in them?' more just casual racism. She was having a very loud conversation with another customer about how many immigrants there are working in Parbold and how this is 'so different to how it used to be' and 'weren't the old days more comfortable' when one could 'know who you're talking to' and 'not worry if they're a Muslim or Islam'. Yes, that was a quote "Muslim or Islam". *boggles*
She didn't even spend much money at the café. *rolls eyes*
So... Anyway...
I should have some new additions to the Doctor Who ACTION figures soon! An Ainley Master and a HATTED DAVISON. Oh god, I felt so much like that episode of the Simpsons with those Malibu Stacy dolls and Smithers says "... BUT SHE HAS A NEW HAT!!" I totally understand. XD
In my defence, I wanted behatted Davison from the start. :(
In other news...
Am watching Avatar: The Last Airbender and it really is spectacular. Season Two is great and has some neat new characters and the expansion of the sustained protagonists is also well drawn out. Also, there are hilarious animals. :D
My new icon is of a character called Toph who PWNS ALL!!
In other, other news...
There are very few YouTube channels that I can highly recommend re: religion/atheism because there are so many flame wars between them. However, this guy is very much on the same page I am on many issues regarding the Bible and seems to have come to a lot of the same conclusions I did by much the same rout. Many videos have Hebrew and Greek word studies and are, I think, well worth considering if you are theistic or atheistic. I find this stuff interesting anyway...
