(no subject)
Do you remember the creepy old woman who tried to pimp her granddaughters out? Well, she came into the cafe today... WITH her granddaughters. I foresaw this becoming very uncomfortable very quickly, especially as the granddaughters came in smiling, glanced at me, and then looked deeply unhappy. I think it was the bow-tie. >:D8
This is not the worst of it. The conversation went something like...
Me: What would you like?
Woman: *gives boring order*
Me: Okay, anything else?
Woman: Do you work here everyday?
Me: More or less.
Woman: When are you off?
Me: ... Sundays?
Woman: *smiles at her granddaughters* And what church do you go to.
Me: I don't.
Woman: *stares at me* Are you looking for a Church? We go to one in Newbourgh and it's very nice. The girls are in the youth group there. Maybe you could join them.
Me: That may be a problem, you see *at this point, Joshua, my brother, walks in* AH! Josh! I need to speak to you! Excuse me... *hurries off to the store room and tells Josh to serve them while I 'tidy' the stores*
God's turban! I made sure to stay out of sight for the rest of the time she was there. Because... Really? The two girls seemed less happy with the situation than I did, which, given their grandmother's behaviour, is understandable. I still can't quite believe that this person actually thinks that it would be a) a good idea to pimp her granddaughters out b) to do this in public and c), most bafflingly, to harass me about it. Me, perhaps the most unbearable, unattractive, undesirable person in Parbold, if not the country. Clearly this person is deranged. Maybe I should have told her granddaughters to get help for her. This is not normal behaviour. :\
In other news...
I bought a fez today. From eBay. The seller said they'd 'had a rush on fezzes in the last week' so delivery may take a day or so longer. I LOLED! LITERALLY! FEZZES ARE COOOOL! :D
