Yeah, so, Hung Parliament.
I tried to stay up for the election but drifted off at something like 2am, woke up at 3, managed to see the GREEN VICTORY, then fell asleep again. Went to work and was nearly dead. D:
Please, Nick Clegg, don't be an idiot. If you join the Tories, you'll lose 90% of your support. Also, it'd be a real dick move. Gordon wants PR too! Cameron wants to steal babies and burn cars!
Grrr. Well, a lot's already been said about the election. On to happier things...
DOCTOR WHO!!
First of all, the Eleventh Doctor = WIN on so many levels. I love it when the Doctor is all clueless and says things that are completely inappropriate, thinking they're great and acceptable. XD
I was not looking forward to this episode and thought it would be boring. After the superness of the last two episodes, I thought it would be a let down. It was surprisingly goof, though. Rory is actually an interesting companion. I was expecting him to be uber terrible. But I do kind of like his patheticness and mannerisms (Deadly Aliens... ALIENS... OF DEATH).
Oh, and just in case you had forgotten, there are the OBVIOUS SHOTS OF THE WEDDING DRESS. XD
THE DOCTOR IN A CAKE! OMFG! I should have seen it coming, but hahaha! Ace.
Well, come on Rory, aren't you going to say 'it's bigger on the inside', everyone else does.
Is it just me, or did the Doctor sound like he was quoting wikipedia when they first arrived in Venice? ;P
The Doctor owes Casanova a Chicken. Who else thinks the bet was "I bet I'll never look like you! Not even in my tenth regeneration!"
Amy's character is also getting better. I like how, being with the Doctor, she's becoming more childish and reckless - much like him. Probably something to do with the fact that he's her childhood imaginary friend.
I think I want Eleven to be the slightly clueless Doctor. Perhaps that can be his shtick. After crazy-pants ten, I'd like a more Doctory Doctor. :)
The only thing that got me about this episode was the ending. Felt a bit of a cop-out. Oh, let's just kill her off so the Doctor doesn't have to face the moral dilemma. :\ Nine would have kicked her in. Ten would have kissed her. Six would have SHOUTED at her. XD
The next episode looks like a mixture of The Celestial Toy Maker and The Mind Robber. :)
So...
In other news...
Slow day in work today. Unusual for a Saturday. Though we did have a small rush at around 5 o'Clock. Which made me nervous. Wasn't sure we'd finish up before 6. But we did.
Oh, and, by the way...
ZOMG!!!
