OH MY FUCKING GOD!!

A MASTER CON!

That's right. A Doctor Who convention... Centred around The Master.
WHUT!? XD
The best Masters are dead now, so woe. :(

In other news...

I are sick, I are tired, I are depressed. And on top of that... MY SONIC SCREWDRIVER IS BROKEN!! D:
Apparently there have been a lot of problems with the new sonic re: it stops working after a few days. Well, mine lasted over a week and a half. So I must be one of the lucky ones? I think it's got something to do with the 'secret sounds' - a lot of people only started having problems after discovering them. So, I'm getting myself a new sonic on Sunday and hopefully getting a refund for my dead one. :(

In other, other news...

Slow week is SLLOOWWW!
Why isn't it Saturday yet? I WANT MATT SMITH TIMES! D:<

Today's idiotic discussion with chef bloke was about net neutrality. It lead him to state that he thinks the internet should be regulated and monitored because 'terrorists will use it'. Whereas I am all in favour of a free and open forum for ideas. What makes the internet great is you can fact-check people very quickly. Of course, that's probably why he doesn't like it. He will make grand assertions about how great the UK's military power is or how much we pay to the EU (today he said it was 50 billion pounds a day - a myth started by the Daily Express back in 2006 (and incidentally, it's interesting to note that Euro-sceptics quote anything from £40 billion to £200 billion whereas the actual figure is only £13bln (not including the rebates which bring it down a considerable amount depending on the year in question)- though a lot of the confusion probably comes from UKIP's constant (and I think deliberate) rounding up and misleading presentation of the data, but hey, they're politicians, what can you do?)). I'll look it up and the facts disagree. Which either annoys him or causes him to assert that 'the government doesn't want you to know the FACTS!' Pick any issue and the result is the same. Maybe it's annoying? But I happen to care about the truth. Also, I don't trust a word that comes out of his mouth. :p
Back to net neutrality...
Maybe it's because I'm a socialist, feminist, environmentalist, leftist, Marxist bastard, but the idea of the power to control the information seems a little, well, wrong. The Digital Economy Act is one of the few Labour policies I disagree with strongly. But it's not quite the 'corporations control the content' that a lot of doom sayers claim - but there's an annoying nod in that direction.

On a related note,
I missed a lot of the Leaders' debate due to feeling tired and ill. :( Will re-watch. But my thoughts, from what I saw were:

Cameron: CHANGE CHANGE, FEAR AND CHANGE, WE ARE CHANGE AND CHANGE WITH CHANGE.
Clegg: Different, different, we are different. Don't vote for these two. I are different.
Brown: I are Gordon. This is what Labour will do; awesome shit, like x y and z. PWNED!

But still Clegg is getting the high ratings. Which is slightly encouraging as both Lib Dem and Labour are both pro EU, so YAY! The cons did abysmal according to all the graphs, but they're never really reliable, but lol all the same.

Anyway, roll on next week. :)
