online market research site OnePoll have recently ran a poll on who is the best doctor on the screen, and The Doctor came out on top. The Time Lord beat off opposition from other well known doctors such as Doctor Watson, Doctor Dolittle, and Dr Emmett Brown (Back to the Future).
A OnePoll spokesperson said:

Some good developments...
Despite the lack of customers (we had three all day) it looks like I might, MIGHT be getting paid almost double minimum wage... In about three weeks. I had a discussion with my father about how I was feeling that I'd been taken advantage of and he said he's going to apply for some special grant for small businesses that will give him enough money to pay me (and the other staff) double minimum wage for a year. So... That'll be cool. Moreover, he said (though I don't think I actually believe him) that if he gets paid 'enough' this month he will give me the £500 I need to hire the writers workshop and get a full edit and possible Agency recommendation thing.
Whoo! I hope that happens.
Incidentally, the payment will be cutting it fine for the Glasgow con. I hope there are still tickets available by the time I get enough money. I really want to meet Tom Baker! ;_;
On a side note, at the café there are these large mirrors onto which we write the day's specials with these magic pens. Today, while bored, I grabbed one of these pens and drew a picture of the fourth doctor. Then one of the Eleventh Doctor with a MASSIVE bow tie. :D
In other news...
I had a really odd dream last night.
Matt was driving me somewhere in his new car and in the back seat was a very angry man with a moustache. He kept shouting "IS THIS SALFORD? JUST TELL ME! IS THIS SALFORD?"
