I spoke to Nick Briggs! :D He's a nice bloke and new what I was talking about when I mentioned the socially awkward Dalek from The Chase. XD

Anything that doesn't have 'Jesus', 'God' or 'The Bible' in it is EV0l! Apparently...

Have you heard any of his Audio Visuals where he played the Doctor? I've only heard one. That makes me sad.

I wasn't allowed to watch Star Trek as a child because a reference was made to 'denebian slime devils.' I suppose it was for the best. I read the most hilarious article in a very old DWM issue about why DW hadn't caught on in Canada. Apparently our local (Ontario) tv station only aired ~educational~ shows from Britain and so they picked only certain episodes of DW to air and then they would follow them up with a live discussion/debate on the ~issues~ brought up by the show. ^_^

This does not explain why we had tons of BritComs on that same station, though...

No I haven't. Is it good? :o

My mother banned The Simpsons because she thought the Halloween specials were demonic. o_0
The 'issues' in Doctor Who? I want to see these things. XD

I enjoyed it. It's called the Time Ravagers. Apparently his Doctor wears a tea kettle badge. :D I listened to his first story. The previous Doctor had been accidentally aged to death by the Temperon. The Daleks are trying to discover how the Temperon can 'swim' through time without technology and force the Doctor to help them (since the creature likes the Doctor). I don't know how long it lasts but... you know how the Doctor's always saying that he'll 'explain later'. Well, Briggs' Doctor, shortly after regenerating, tries a new approach: explaining things! It doesn't go over well ( ... )

Oh, I also listened to a pre-Audio Visuals DW audio they put together called The Space Wail (not Whale, Wail ;). It sounds like the 5th Doctor only he's... 14 or something. I LOVE IT. It's delightfully 'this was made by fanboys in their basement' and it just lovely.
