Weeks go by... My thoughts progress
HEY!
Wow, I havent written in a while. I guess because not much has been going. Just the usual stuff.
This past weekend has been really fun though and today i finally have time to just sit down and write cuz im all home by myself.
My mommys birthday was yesturday. So all this past week, we have been shopping and thinking about what we were gonna do. Saturday was manuelitos sister in laws birthday (which is also my moms friend) so she had a get together at her house. It was cool (By the way i bought the cutest jean jacket for like 15 buck here so i wore that LOL). So the fun part was when her son and his friend were all drunk. It was awesome. I had forgetten how much fun it is to be drunk and just hang around people that were drunk. Guys when they are drunk are even funnier. I also met some of their cousins which seem really sweet and one of them was my age. Its probably the most fun ive had in a while. After the party around 11 the guys had to go cuz they had a party and they invited me .. but our tradition had to live on that we go out to make a toast at 12pm of anybody in our families birthday. So i couldnt go.. GRR! But im glad i got to spend it with my mommy since i didnt get to spend her last birthday with her. Anywhosss so at midnight we made our toast at the Larcomar and then we went home.
Sunday morning we all had breakfast, my mom went to visit my grandma at the hospital, then i went to go get my mom flowers with some money i had saved up. (that alone is a tragic story but to sum that up.. i ended up trying to hid it until i wrote a letter to her but instead it turned out to be me dropping the glass crystal vase that the flowers were in.. SO CLUMSY! my mom wasnt too happy about the vase either but she liked the flowers)Then we met up with my mom at manuelitos moms house we had a drink(another toast)lol then we went to LA COSTA VERDE. Its this really nice restaurent on the beach. It was a buffet. In other words, a major disgusting PIGOUT! And not to mention, i had had a drink to start of with and then they gave you another complimentry pisco sour (a really popular alcholic drink here)so you the food was looking pretty bouncy haha! But it was amazing food and then there was a folkloric show and at the end, they choice people out of the crowd to dance. Well i ended up dancing traditional peruvian dance that day with one of the dancing dudes! haha It was def. a really awesome experience. I HAVE A PICTURE doing my dance! The drinks really got to me LOL! Only if you are special you might get to see that picture.
Then we went home and everyone who called and said happy birthday got invited to a small reunion at our house. We eat a lil and then we sang happy birthday to my mommy and then we had cake music and talk and then everyone went home. Overall it was a pretty fun weekend.Hopefully, i can go out more now since i made better friends with manuelitos nephews. Im happy though cuz i have a good feeling that im gonna start going out more.
This weekend has been soo cool too cuz i got to talk to crystal again and Danielb. Me and crystal talked for like an hour and we caught up on everything and it was so nice to hear from someone from over there besides my sisters that is. I also got to call daniel from the phone at tia mariattas house cuz she has free international (and i wanted to call everyone but since i didnt wanna be rude and i only remebered one number) i called daniel but i also got to talk to kelly e! It was soo exciting!! I MISS everyone sooo much!
But anywaysss thats about all. I got a whole camera full of pictures that needs to get developed .. as soon as i develop these pictures from the entire time ive been here.. ill put them up for sure!
