Yesterday was friday, Spring break '06!! heck yes...
So first of all, I woke up and got in a huge fight with my father
the fights are continuing today and all i hear is noise now
I dont think I even remember what he's been complaining about now
so I finally do the "requirements of the day"
and meet shara and sarah to go to dinner
a dinner that turned out to be not just any old dinner mind you
So Sarah's mom has a cool job
She works for Outback, she's a computer tech. But like a super good one
So she's been helping an Outback that was about to open in Cocoa Beach
Well last night was their opening night and you only get to go by invite
Her mom invited Sarah, Shara and Me
It was super cool
But if you know anything, you know that from where we live it should only take about an hour and a half to get there.
Well... We were told to take 95 south
you know how on Beville all the 95 and I4 exits are real close?
Well we ended up on I4
We were stuck in traffic
Meanwhile Sarah and Shara are in charge of the dj'ing for the night because i was sitting in back
The first music selection was this terrible cd
You want me to tell you about this cd?
This cd, was Z88.3 on disk. It was terrible. I wanted to rip out my hair.
It's times like these when an ipod would have been really really nice.
and then they decide to turn on the Underoathe, granted I do like some of their songs, I do NOT like screaming music.
So now im just losing it, I actually rolled down the window and was screaming for help, see you think I'm kidding but I'm not.
We were running late for our reservation and we called her mom
Her mom asked where we were
We told her, passing John Young Parkway, She says "WHERE are you?!?"
hahahahaha, let me inform you this is the part where we finally realize we're on I4 instead of 95
so we get new directions while sitting right next to the Holy Land, mmm wasn't planning on going there!
We get back on the road and FINALLY get there
We managed to stretch that 1 1/2 hour drive into 3 1/2 hours. ridiculous
well we get there and everything was free so we're like going to town the whole experience was actually hilarious, i think we might have gotten some hostesses fired because they scared us cause they were cheerleading and talking about icky things and we tatty taled.
When we were almost done eating I remember, My birthday is in 2 days.
So her mom goes and teaches them all the Outback birthday song, and the ENTIRE staff of Outback came out, like we're talking cooks, techs, owner and his wife, grandchildren and pets... (ok so not quite) haha, nonsense. And they did the whole Happy Birthday shpeal.
But the coolest part of the story, since it was opening night I was their first birthday ever!!! no one else will ever be their first birthday and I think that makes me special :)
We got home WAY faster than we got there and then sarah and I watched cry_wolf
Im not a huge fan of scary movies but it was SO good! so good! you should watch it!
crap! my brother just ran out of gas AGAIN! little sister to the rescue... he might get fired today, that would "stink" - because my dad put a stupid filter on here that won't let me write that word that starts with an s and ends in an uck. haha! I tricked the computer! did you see that? oh yeah, be proud.
