shit to HIT the FAN

So i get into my new position pretty excited as I'm back w/my hiring manager after a good 2 years. He's moved up as the mortgage industry was rocking, and he was making mega bucks, well as of 1/1/06 corportate cut eveyone's pay, like hard core and he just bought a million dollar home in a good neighborhood w/a wife and 2 kids at home. He's sucking it up and looking good, then he loses his partner that helped build our area in the past 5 years and now hes on the vacation and well rumor has it from many sources he's returning from his Dells trip w/ the family only to resign... We lost another manager while he was on his vacation all the while I try to remain calm but the others in the office are freaking crazed about all this. I feel it's the storm and it's only going to get worse, in may new programs will open up and I think we'll be ok, just that the people used to making big bucks have to find jobs to support thier new homes and keeping up w/the Jones. So I'm curious why my manger if he was going to quit all along brought me on to this position, unless he knew something we all didn't, such as...the old position I was in was being eliminated which is a possiblity as that is based off volume...or was it becuase he wanted me to get a pay increase of sorts before he took off... no matter, I'll sit it out for a while, but I'm sprucing up the resume this week, looking to go too school see if it's possible to run my own day care, my sister wants me to buy a candy store, but the location is bad for me. It's totally resonable in price but way out West from me. When I sit back and look at what i'm really good at, taking care of children is something. My sister thought good to name the candy store Auntie Amy's but I think the daycare or a sitter service of some sort would be better. I'm willing to take the 2 years of education course and get the proper license to move forward on this plan. I would like to educate the kids too if that's possible..who knows i'm always thinking though. Kids will always be around, plus when I make my "farrah the wonderdog" story I have a source to reailze if it's really a good story or not. Stay tuned MONDAY lets see if the shit does hit the fan.
