I think you mean its easier to sell a woman plan B after the fact when she's sober and scared than it is to convince a drunk and happy woman to abstain or use a condom.
I totally agree. I simply can't help but feel that we'll use drugs to sedate the elephant in the living room and never really work towards TALKING about sex. It's amaaaazing to me that people won't use the most useful and substantial form of birth control which is opening their mouths.
I also hate the pill and plan-b for their lack of STD protection. It's not always about protecting against babies.
HOWEVER...I do agree with you that for the moment...this is a fairly substantial step in the right direction.
YOU'RE SO RIGHT...th ereligious right has silenced us, and it really is deadly, not to mention physically and emotionally damaging. We have to talk about things if we are ever going to get anywhere. But for now, this is definately necessary. I wish we could do better...we'll work for it.

Or are you saying that the harm reduced to those who need access to plan B overrides the increasingly conservative based national view on sex?
Or a third option I have not hit upon?
Or...I miss your face...that is also an option.

This is exactly what I am saying. Until we can have adequate, widely available comprehensive sex ed for young people, we need something to supplement.
