I think Hugo read my last entry and decided to run a bit in his wheel to compensate my worry. So, this morning when I took the wheel out (usually H cleans it in the morning, but sometimes he forgets and I'm a nasty girlfriend and put it into the bathtub so that he won't miss it XD), there was one cranky Hugemus Maximus waiting for me behind it. I think this is one of those things that he takes after me; I don't tend to be a morning person either...

Yesterday we let Hugo roam around the flat, once again, all free and wild. He hasn't been able to do it a lot lately 'cause it's been such a cold winter but yesterday we figured a little run won't harm him.
Hugo usually goes straight to his cage (we move the fence every time he's out so that he can get back in by himself if he's on the floor), but this time he was feeling adventurous :D
I one day decided the cage needs some color and then I had H's 5 year old niece spending a day with me and well, this is the outcome. It needs some fixing, though...
The fence is these days longer. There's also a cardboard box for two reasons; for one, I got sick and tired of Hugo always pushing his activation ball behind his door because him trying to get it out of there was even noisier than the wheel was before H fixed it. Secondly, the box is full of warm fleeces.
Huge's toyballs :) Personally, I think I like them more than he does, but whatever....
I tried taking a picture of Hugo anointing himself but I missed it even though he did it twice... I think it was because H was eating warm sandwiches and the smell was delicious.
