Last night there was a huge storm through! The windows were rattling and the noise outside was incredible. I've been awake since four in the morning, it was impossible to sleep.

I'll bet there are a lot of trees missing limbs on the grounds today.

What's worse, I think I've caught some very odd sort of wizard's flu. I feel rather feverish, which isn't so bad on its own, only I swear at times no one can see me.

I've been written up for missing class this week twice, and I haven't missed at all this year! How irritating.

I wonder if I can get a tea and some biscuits? My throat twinges a bit as well.

Think I'll owl mum and ask her what to do.
