Do you know, the real trouble with my fandom is that it has no idea who I am.

When I try to "google" my own name, it all looks pretty well like thisRather unfortunate, that. Then again, no one ever stops me for a chat while I'm trying to buy milk as they do my oncle Harry ( Read more... )

Better to be unknown than infamous - though I'm sure one day you will make quite a name for yourself, so don't stress about it too much.

I have a feeling your parents have gone daft in their old age (and considering they're a few months older than I, I can get away with saying that) -- I'd expect better of your mother though, perhaps I ought to send her an Owl.

Is Madam Pomfrey having difficulty finding reliable brewers? When I was in school, everything was well stocked for anything and everything.

((ooc: bio? where!))

Oh, it doesn't really matter. Only last night after everyone had finally come back, and Rosie shouted at me and Mum floo'd in all frantically it was just somehow really dissapointing to find that everyone else had more...er. Googlethingies. I suppose I was mostly just having a sulk.

Oh, you don't have to send an owl to Mum, it's all right. I told you they would eventually be back. It happens sometimes. When I was younger sometimes they would forget me after piano lessons and things like that, or I'd lose sight of them in the shops and they would leave and then notice it and come back to find me. It's easy to get lost in with all of the others, is all.

Pomfrey says that the potions used to be brewed by the potionsmaster, so naturally there would have been plenty back when...er, as you were growing up.

(ooc: On the Wiki page, it's in the link!)

Perfectly understandable.

Speaking as one who regularly has twenty to fifty children under my care, I do not see how it's simple to forget about one. Surely your mother knows better, and I intend to tell her as such.

And the new potions master instructing you all isn't willing to? That's... I suppose I ought to owl her, as well.

((ooc: *headdesk* forgive me, my brain is old and forgetful ;)]]

Fifty children?? Merlin. Whatever for? And you remember all of them, every time? Wow.

(ooc: Haha. No worries.)

Aside from my Potions shop, I run an orphanage as well - both under pseudonyms, of course.

Tracking charms can be very useful, sometimes.

You run a potions shop? And an orphanage? That's...wow.

Why under pseudonyms?

Ah, right. That's a lot of tracking charms.

Pseudonyms because when I started them up the war was only a couple years gone, Malfoy wasn't a name to be trusted. There are still those that feel that way, but thankfully twenty-odd years have managed to prove to a fair few that we aren't entirely evil.

It is, but it is also quite necessary.

Oh. Hmm. That's...stupid. Yes, stupid. You aren't your family, right? I suppose I understand, though. When people hear "Weasley" they think red hair, Gryffindor, Quidditch player. And I'm none of those.

Perhaps I'll ask Mum to do one on me, then. I rather missed out on the holidays and all.

...It's complicated. No Quidditch? I imagine that was a shock to your father and a blessing for your mother.

Might do. If it does, Merlin forbid, happen again, let me know, you're more than welcome here.

All right.
Oh, I can play Quidditch. Only, I don't. Not really.
Oh, no! That's all right. It wasn't bad at all, only quieter than usual. Which is nothing to complain about. You have enough people to look after as it is.
Thank you, though. It's very kind of you to offer.

Not good at it, or just don't like it? I thought perhaps you had fear of flight, like your mother.

The offer stands, I'm sure your not-uncle Harry would appreciate the company as well.

I suppose I'm ok at it, maybe not the best ever. I made the team last year, only there was so much practising and everyone was so worked up about it and I was just rather hoping for some fun. Da was pretty upset when I dropped it, but I think Mum was secretly amused.

Anyhow, they have Rosie to do all of those things. I'm not sure how she was when you met her here, but in my side of reality she's always been...er...well, she likes to be good at things.

Do you think he would? I don't know. It's so odd, I know nearly everyone and yet they're all strangers at the same time. I'm never sure what to make of it.

I...well, if my parents get lost again, perhaps I will call. Which reminds me, I haven't given them their Christmas gifts yet! Better do, then.
