random bits and pieces
the crush is gone. he does drugs, and enjoys them far too much for my liking.
i'm still enjoying work for the most part. tuesdays are my least favorite day, going in at 1130 and working till 730. its just a lame day all around.
the weather has been disgusting this past week. way too humid for acceptable working conditions. although, i did have 14.25 hours of overtime last week. (splendid paycheck, i might add)
much fun was had at addies house while her parents were out of town for two point five weeks. three nights of insane friendship, and then working a 10 hour day on 45 minutes of sleep.
i've come to accept a few things about myself, and i feel good about it.
i cleaned and re-arranged my room today. put my bed where my couch was, and my couch where my bed was. i cut my toe in the proscess, moving an old air conditioner out of my room. the cut is nasty.
havent had time to do the things ive wanted to do this summer. plans to go to boston today (thursday) to visit mox were killed because of the 92 degree weather. i figured one day in extreme heat this week was enough.
watched V for Vendetta with andrew tuesday night, and am now in love with this silly cat power song that i originally thought might have been regina spektor. I need to watch the film again, as i am not sure i completley understand it. i'm thinking about making andrew watch rebel without a cause tonight.
i want a new digital camera. but i need an external harddrive. I bought a bicycle 3 weeks ago. its name is marjory stuart baxter, you taste like sunshine dust.
school starts on the sixth. i can move in on the fifth, which is awesome and lame at the same time. i would enjoy a few days to get used to living with a billion other girls and having to share my space.
if today is any indication of how long it takes to sort through a slightly messy room, im fucked when it comes to packing for school. 90% of my stuff is still in the den downstairs... i'm going to bring less to school this year. winter clothing can hang out here untill october-ish. I need to buy a fan so linda and i dont die in the heat of september.
40 hours a week is nice when the paycheck comes, but i feel like ive been missing out on stuff with my friends this summer. i'm also thinking about sneaking into the world of the deckhands next summer possibly. this idea excites me.
