And So Begins the Next Chapter...
Friendz. So much have happened since I last posted:
1. Graduation!! I'm now officially an alum of Concordia University Chicago. I'm a BA in History. And I'm not afraid to use it.
2. Moved home. It's been an adjustment so far, but today's been the best yet. Mom was actually home for a while this morning, so she and I spent some time at Target. It was nice to see her for more than a few minutes at night when she gets home from work... and it was nice to get out of the house. Moving in has gone fairly well. I've actually got most of the stuff either unpacked, relocated, or stored. Now I just need to finish getting it all to fit. :-)
Actually, that's about all that's happened since I posted. Drew did in fact buy me a puppy for graduation. His name is Reginald (Reggie for short), and he's super soft and snuggly. He's also a stuffed animal. Drew said he'd have to be a stand-in for a while, at least until I can get a real puppy. I'm not worried...
I've also got all my thank you notes written already, which is quite an accomplishment. I'm surprised I didn't procrastinate on that more. Now that I'm graduated and moved home, one thing I'd like to do more next year is letter write. We'll see if I actually get around to it, and if I have anyone to write to consistently. In my mind, I'm bringing back the Rebecca in me.
So what's up next?
Grad school in the fall through University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee. I'll be working toward my Masters in Library and Information Science. I'm excited!!
