Well, despite the provincial attitude of many here, at PSU, I should note that most of my classmates in the masters program are no slouches. I've got people in my classes who did their undergrad work at MIT, Berkeley, and the University of Colorado isn't so bad either, and those are the ones I know. I'm not sure why I feel the need to defend it, but there it is. Perhaps I'm just trying to talk myself into staying for the Ph.D. instead of going somewhere more reputable. I do like Portland though.
