I have started with the kitchen and the living room.
Kitchen: Almost all of the dishes that I have let pile up over the months have been cleaned and cleaned again. All I have left are a few glasses and pots and pans. I will then attack the counter tops and the stove with cleaning agents. After that has been accomplished, I will clean out the microwave. Finally, I will clean the refrigerator and mop the floor.
Living Room: I have cleaned the kitchen table and cleared it of my clutter. I have bagged all of the papers that need to be shredded and taken out the trash bags that I had filled with the things that we can throw away. I will move all of the boxes o' stuff to the shed so that they are out of the way. Monday, the exercise bike will go back to the shop and that will be the last of the living room, after dusting and vaccuming.
Later....
Hallway: Needs vaccumed.
Bathroom: Needs swept. I just need to do a quick scrub of the tub, sink, and toilet. Luckily, I have kept it clean.
Office: Fold the clothes on the futon. Clean some of the clutter that Amber left behind. Dust. Vaccum.
Bedroom: Pick up all of my junk off the floor. Clean out stuff from under bed. Dust. Vaccum. Wash sheets.
After the obvious laundry, I am done.
I'll try to get the maintenance folks in here to fix the dishwasher, light, and screen on Monday. I need to talk to the movers and then call Amber to tell her when they'll be here.
This isn't as I thought it would be.
When Amber gets here and makes piles of our things, that will be the hard part. =)
Luckily, the complex managers hire folks to come and clean the carpets and drapes. So, all we need to do is get our stuff out of here.
