But you have the edge since you are actually drawing your comic and I have three in my head, well I did start outlining one that no one will understand, but is pretty important to me as a person.
Seriously. You know how to control a brush, even. Your lines have different thicknesses. And you know how to use black. All that, and you keep getting better with every drawing.
Dude go to a comic con large enough to support art dealers and you will cry when you see original art. And you will realize how much you have to work to keep up, Well you won't but I will. And if I could control a brush the way that I wanted to you would see that my inks would match my pencil work better. As for the getting better part..well I'd say that we both are improving. But seeing your new shit was like " Holy shit, this dude is even better than before!" I'm just glad that the concept art stuff didn't suck out your soul and make your art look like Syd Mead stuff done with a computer...like most concept art does.... And with the black? Hoinestly I just try to create cool looking patterns that draw the eye where its supposed to go. I doesn't always work : (
Well I'd tell you but I read somewhere that if you tell people what your story is going to be about then you never write it...SO you will just have to see it. My Fiancee doesn't even know yet : )
