On his blog today, John Derringer from Toronto rock station Q107 said it well:
I've always liked Hugh Dillon. He's a good man and a real talent. Even though he's Mr. Big-Time L.A. Actor these days, Hugh hasn't forgotten his musical roots, with his brand-new solo album Works Well With Others, in stores today. Hugh's a product of the musically rich post-punk Kingston scene, so it's not surprising that a couple of the Hip boys, Paul Langlois and Rob Baker, help out on the album.Good timing, too. Dillon's CTV/CBS hit Flashpoint has its own Season One DVD release today as well. It's Multimedia Domination Day at the Dillon household.
Hugh lived a high octane life for a lot of years. He's seen the bottom and now he's seeing the top. I'm pretty sure I know which view he prefers.
Good on ya, pal.
