I'm busy today with DOING stuff for Philcon, PACKING my stuff for Philcon, personal business, and a host of other things, so I don't know how often I'll have the chance to be online (and NOT doing Philcon stuff) today. In the meantime, here's a few things...
- So, who's the highest paid athlete of all time? Tiger Woods? Michael Jordan? Alex Rodriguez? Nope, nope, and nope.
The answer may well surprise you. -
Today is writer Alan Moore's birthday. The author of Watchmen, The League of Extraordinary Heroes, V for Vendetta, and From Hell is 57 years old today. To celebrate, he will lead the Riders of Rohan in a charge against the armies of Mordor.
(Oh, c'mon... like you DON'T see the resemblence!)
- At midnight tonight,
the new Harry Potter movie (Harry Potter and the Invincible Marketing Juggernaut Deathly Hallows, Part 1) will premiere on movie screens across the nation. Since I will be busy with Philcon THIS weekend, I will not be seeing it until NEXT week sometime. So in the meantime,
don't spoil it for me. ;-P
- Oh, and BTW...
PHILCON.
- And, finally, squirrels...
Have a great day, everyone!
