(no subject)
As I was telling Narin on email, I don't bother posting much on here, as my day tends to consist of getting up, catching a train, sitting in a small room all day, then catching a train home, watching some tv/surfing/reading, then going to bed. At weekends I some times go to football or catch a movie. Exciting stuff, eh? I haven't the energy to do anything on my screenplays in ages - ind you, I think a lack of sleep might be responsible for the bloody Ed Woodesque weird dream I had - see elsewhere. Maybe I should do something with it?!lol)
Today was different! I had half a day off, to clear out my car, which is off to the scrap yard tomorrow (Good riddence!), then I went to see 30 Days of Night. It rocks! Very old school horror, very bloody, grim and unrelenting, with very little humour. I loved it! Contender for my SFX vote for film of the year. I hope Beowulf is up to the challenge next week - in 3D!
I'm still in a grump over a couple of things - the fact that I didn't ever know that wireless broadband has as much speed as the telegram and that if I'm going to download then it looks like I'll have to move the laptop downstairs and then not be able to surf comfortably; also the fracking trains are shite on Saturday for Gmex!
I may well turn my postings into a movie news/reviews thread now! lol
