IS THIS REAL LIFE
shit I need to use this journal more often
ANYHOO, I was working at the vet's office as I always do, and I had a stray kitty come in. We will call him General McBadass.
General McBadass was missing both his ears, had a broken tail and three abscesses due to fights. The scar tissue was so thick on parts of his body that we couldn't get to veins. Also, he had a foxtail embedded in his eyeball. :|
And I was like "oh shit" when the vet was like K YOU'RE GIVING HIM A SHOT
I...hadn't given an actual shot until then, but hey. first time for everything.
First vaccination: Penicillin. The other assistant didn't load it correctly, so when I pushed down the plunger, it exploded. Onto my face.
Second Vaccination: ...Rabies, I believe? His scar tissue was so thick that it bent the needle. And got stuck. D:
Third Vaccination: Rabies(?), round two. SUCCESS!
And then we had to cut his testicles off.
Fun times all around. C:
