Yesterday, I found out that my contract is getting renewed through December 28th. And it is almost certain that it will not be renewed again after that.
So I'm job hunting again.
The upside is that it almost wasn't renewed at all. So instead of being out of a job in less than two weeks, I have almost six.
I keep going back and forth between being really optimistic that I'll have no trouble finding something, and being really pessimistic about it (i.e., "Nobody really does any hiring over the holidays", or "Nobody will even look at my resume because I don't have 10 years of experience").
All I can really do is give it my best shot and see what happens.
