(no subject)
It's here! Christmas has officially taken over everything! Christmas songs, the Chocolate Advent Calendar that you don't really even LIKE but you eat b/c hi, it's tradition, and last but not least Livejournal has a new design, christmas communities and a ton of lovely Christmas memes (which I will get to eventually pinky swear!).
It's hard to enjoy it at this point of the month though. Everybody's on edge, everybody's tired and blah! My hair is having major issues and I barely have time to post at all, ever (not that I've ever been the most responsible LJer). But it's cool, because someone once told me that the stress and sucky work load that comes along with University is really a bonding experience for everyone. It's like the great equalizer, or something. Can you tell I'm trying DESPERATELY to find the silver lining here??
Anyway, I thought that was just a load of crap designed to make people feel better, but I think they're might be some truth in it. Like yesterday I had this sweet little conversation with some random girl in the bathroom. She asked how I was and I gave her that finals LOOK OF TORTURE. She was sympathetic and cheerfully anounced she had a paper due thursday that has not been started yet to look forward to. But we decided it was okay because this train wreck is almost OVER!
Speaking of...I have an oral exam tommorow...Now is as good a time as any to learn to speak french!
