I never loved nobody fully/always one foot on the ground

So, I know they don't do a lot of obvious songs on Veronica Mars, and with good reason cuz it's not that kind of show, but wasn't that last song in "Wichita Linebacker" just so perfect for Veronica? That was just such an honest, feel good-buzz-inducing scene! I kind of felt like I was watching My So Called Life again, hee! It couldn't have come at a better time.

Things suck right now. It's getting to that maddening point in the semester when I'm positive I'm going to fail out of school, and I'll have to go back and work at Mc.Dee's, and I'll go all "Bell Jar" on everybody!
FYI: Not only does  "Fidelity" song describe Veronica/Logan great, it also has calming powers! You'll deffinately want to add that one to your list of songs that talk you down when you're freaking stressed. Worked for me today. Hearing that my marriage & family midterm will be an open book group effort helped too. I mean, okay the material is pretty basic, and it's more about practical learning, but being "forbidden to study" is just ridiculous. And by that I mean RIDICULOUSLY AWESOME!!

I'm off to bed now, but just a quick recomendation. If any of you are aspiring writers, run, don't walk, to buy Anne Lamott's book "Bird by Bird". I LOVE her! It was required reading for writing for publication, but turned out to be the best thing I was ever forced to buy. She not only covers everything  you'd ever want to know about writing, but she's self-deprecating and hilarious too. It's entertaining even if you don't have much interest in writing. You might want to wait till you have some serious free time though. And who's got that kind of time on their hands? I'm jealous of this bee-yach! Lol.
