so when i first moved up here, i had no idea where to find an internet connection. i figured the easiest place to start would be the public library. after discovering i needed a library card to use their computers, i went upstairs to retrieve one. to my dismay, i was short the one credential which stated my new address. since i hadn't received any mail to that point, i decided it would be a good idea to just mail myself a letter.
my sister and i were out roaming around town that day, doing a bit of shopping, gabbing, stopping in on people and all the such. i mentioned the situation to her earlier and sometime that day we made it to the post office. after i asked her if she knew a different sender address (i needed something in the area), she offered her at then point but now kinda sorta boyfriend's address... she also offered to write the note... i laughed and smiled for a minute after i read it.
it just came in the mail yesterday, because she wrote the wrong zip code on the envelope.
i guess the lesson of this little story is that no matter how odd it may seem, there are logical reasons behind heterosexual men mailing themselves love letters from their imaginary homosexual boyfriends...
:)
ps. my camera battery died, but new pictures should be on the way soon... as soon as i buy another ;) which will be soon.
