I just wanted to say I love how you comments are so detailed, well thought out and concise, and others (like my own ha!) are usually full of flailing and keysmashing XDDDDD

However reading you comments gives me another perspective on the fic or things I didn't think of before, so thankies you smart cookie ^o^

You're welcome! =) I'm glad my long comments are actually helping people and not taking up space. I adore this fic mainly because it really makes me think about the people involved, and the world around them.

I think the the authors are really commendable in the way they are able to make each character truly a product of their time and environment. ♥ This is fantastic stuff~

Chapter 16: HOT. O.O; I loved this chapter because up until this point we got bits and pieces of Jaejoong and Yoochun--as people, as rebels, as a relationship, but this time we're given a chance to really see what they're thinking. And even though, for me personally, they're not particularly likeable characters, I really admire the love they have for each other. I mean, it takes a lot of trust to be able to involve er 3 more guys in your relationship dynamic after all ( ... )

Up until now, our central focus in the story has been on Changmin and Yunho, so we're glad that you enjoyed our exploration of Jaejoong and Yoochun in these chapters.

As far as those two, who really knows what their motivations are? Like Yunho said, they're manipulative and chameleon-like, and they've been at this a long time. Who knows how many men before these three they seduced? On the other hand, just as Yoochun's outward aggression masked his vulnerability, maybe flippancy and coercion mask deeper feeling. We'll have to see. :)

In a sense, this fic is very much about Yunho's journey. He is the most firmly entrenched in his ways when the story begins, and he has the most changes to undertake. How he undertakes them and who he comes out being is still to be seen, but we're so happy that you're sticking with him :)

Thank you so, so much for the in depth comment--it makes us so happy that our fic is provoking thought and speculation. Hope you enjoy the chapters to come!

Ouch! XD; That hurt my poor OT5 fangirl heart. But I shall wait patiently for the next chapter before I come up with more wild (and most likely wrong) speculations~ ♥

Wow. That's stuff right out of a history class. =) I love it ♥ (well I should since I'm studying this stuff right now...)

Thanks for taking the time and effort to explain it to me. Much of my confusion was in not clearly understanding the structure of the setting - as in the motherland of the monarchy, how far the empire spread as well as the level of control exerted by either regimes of old and new. This definitely gives me more perspective into the story and I really really really cannot wait to find out what happens next.
