Thought I would update my journal since it has been a while. Its a very busy summer for me. Work is starting to get busy again. My coworker has been in and out of the hospital for a while and just had surgery on thursday. So we've been busy trying to cover all of her shifts. Thats been a little crazy. I have a wedding I am in this summer, so I've been heading back and forth between here and Ohio for bridal showers, making centerpieces, dress fittings, etc. And coming up in the next month I have a bachelorette party and the actual wedding. Plus, the other Youth Leader is working at the church camp all summer ( a couple hours away), so he won't be around to help out at all this summer. So, I've got to do all the summer stuff for the youth. We are running the concession stand at our local "movies in the park" all summer (5 Fridays) as a fundraiser. Plus lock-ins and other get togethers we are trying to plan to stay connected. I am also making a trip to Alaska this summer. My uncle and aunt have lived up there over 5 years and I still haven't made it up to visit them yet. So I'll be heading up there midjuly. I'm also trying to fit time in to visit with Dave, my sister, and my friends from my old work. I am done typing the cookbook, now we are just working on editing. I am also trying to fix up my camp lot any free chance I get. Oh! And I am trying to empty out my storage unit since I won't be needing that stuff any time soon. Oh, and also working on figuring out the next step for going back to school. Hmmm, guess thats it for the update. Questions, comments, suggestions: just shoot 'em my way!
Oh, yeah! one more thing. I just found a new fundraiser for my youth group. Its FREE to you, but helps us earn a little money. Check it out! Here's my church bulliten insert I made on the computer (minus the graffics):
