I've read somewhere that some overwhelming percentage of daytime fatigue in the US comes from dehydration too. I know at least at times in your life you've felt tired all the time. If that's still the case, you might want to think about having a glass of water whenever you feel sleepy in the middle of the day.

oh yes i did! I found it in the $5.50 bin, but it turned out that it was $9.88 and a customer put it in the wrong place. But I didn't care - I bought it anyway :)

I'm surprised it wasn't supposed to be in the $5.50 bin... :)

I lent it to a coworker when I worked at the bookstore. She never gave it back and then she left for college. The next time I saw her she said the VCR ate it. But doesn't matter now because I have it on DVD now!!!

no its not the disney version. Its a four hour long live action movie that has actors like carol channing, ringo starr, sammie davis jr., shelly winters, llyod bridges, sid caesar, scott baio, red buttons, john stamos, merv griffin, and sally struthers, to name a FEW of the actors that took part in this. Um, its was made in 1985 I think and was aired on ABC I believe. Irwin allen directed it. As a kid, I absolutely loved the thing and watched it all the time!

hmmm. I would have taken bets that you would have been a disney version fan. Ok, having not seen this one (and I do remember you and Carol talking about this before) I think I'm also surprised that you found this for sale!

It's really well done in some ways, though the lipsynching is TERRIBLE! It's a lot more true to the books (it includes Through the Looking Glass, too) than the Disney version, though of course it takes some liberties too.

I think you would like it quite a bit, once you got over the fact that it was a made-for-tv movie and that is what it looks like!
