It is a truth universally acknowledged, that when one suddenly has things to write about, one no longer has the time to do so. I will be brief.
Pride and Prejudice was excellent. I could not have forseen how talented the cast would be. My heart swelled with pride (and I say that without prejudice) to see a script I had co-penned brought to life in ways I could never have dreamed of. An administration job at the ministry looks less and less appealing now. If only the arts paid better, or I could be certain of success.
Examinations have been going satisfactorily so far. Unfortunately I am a little uptight and yesterday frightened a little girl who tapped me tentatively on the shoulder, by jumping several feet into the air. Perhaps it would be best to only approach me from the front for now. Alternatively, any suggestions for relaxation that would not take an excess of time from my revision schedule would be greatly appreciated.
I apologise for not contributing to the latest edition of The Phoenix Song. I fully intended to, but was so wrapped up in revision that I missed the deadline. I am sure you coped without my ramblings!
And on that other matter, I will be silent. I am distracted enough already.
