25 minutes.
That's how long I have until the staff meeting. It's normally on Wednesdays but the VP moved it to today because she was in Boston last week talking to the company that's buying us. This staff meeting is one of those fate things. Hopefully I'll learn about health insurance and vacation days and sick policy and be told that I can still work my preferred hours and wear jeans.
Maybe this is why I'm so twitchy today. Every little thing is making me jump.
The keyboard sounds from the computer behind me? Twitch.
Someone's office door closing? Twitch.
The printer spitting out pages? Twitch.
My own coughing makes me startle.
22 minutes.
This weekend was good. I now have a season pass for Six Flags. I can ride roller coasters any time I want. I have high hopes.
Otherwise, I've been in a bit of a rut all week. I need to clean my apartment and go to the grocery but I just don't have the energy. All I want to do is curl up and tune the world out. That would be really awesome right now. A good book, a bit of music and a snuggly blanket.
But I have a 115 more tables to import before the end of the day. And a meeting to attend. And lunch to eat. And an airport run tonight. I can do it. Really.
18 minutes.
I really hope I can still wear jeans.
