(no subject)
oh wow. I guess it's been awhile since I posted anything on here...
Life is boring...as usual. I went home to Kansas for Robby's graduation in the middle of May. It's hard to believe that (now) my little bro is a high school grad and 18 (which happened just last week). My stalkerbook and myspace photos are us at his grad - for those of you that might care. Went back a couple weeks later for B-dog's wedding and stuff. Whit and I drove back together, so it was good to spend some quality time with her.
I'll be heading to Anaheim, CA over Labor Day weekend for my uncle's wedding.
Oh! And my roommate and I are going to go to DisneyWorld for Fall Break - 6 days! It's gonna be so sweet...it's their Halloween weekend! We are going as pirates.
Am freaking out because of HP.
arthenadent is coming to the 'nati again for the midnight showing, so that will be totally awesome! then, for the book, we are actually going to have a midnight party at the store, and my coworker and I are going to spend the night in the concourse reading it, then open again at 6. This is at an airport, remember, so we really only expect to sell 2 (one for her, one for me) at midnight. But at least the few hours before midnight are now filled with decorating the store instead of twiddling my thumbs and freaking out.
Martin Sheen came into our store a couple weeks ago - unfortunately I only got to watch on the security cameras bc I was not working at the time.
Here's a couple of books I highly recommend that you read:
The Secret History of the Pink Carnation by Lauren Willig (first of a series historical romance/chick lit/intrigue - classified as general fiction)
An Assembly Such as This by Pamela Aiden (first of the Fitzwilliam Darcy, Gentleman trilogy)
