1) Where did you begin 2008? Mountain View, California but as a resident of New Haven, Connecticut
2) What was your status by Valentine's Day? Single, as usual
3) Were you in school (anytime this year)? Yeah, up until May
4) How did you earn your money? Student loans followed by actual salary
5) Did you have to go to the hospital? Nope
6) Did you have any encounters with the police? Got stopped but no ticket. Driving erratically, pshaw
7) Where did you go on holiday? Russia and Ukraine (for conference), Boston (for conference), NorCal, Ecuador, SoCal, Spain (for conference), Yosemite, Big Sur (camping)
8) What did you purchase that was over $1000? Nothing. Some plane tickets that cost more than $1,000 were purchased for me
9) Did you know anybody who got married? Lindsay, Colleen, maybe others
10) Did you know anybody who passed away? I don't think so
12) Did you move anywhere? Yeah, from Connecticut to California
14) What concerts/shows did you go to? Lots. Spring Awakening (musical), The Breeders (show), SF Lyric Chorus (twice), Wicked (musical, in CT), like half a dozen Black Acacias shows, more I can't think of

18) Describe your birthday? I tried to write my thesis and failed while getting about a million calls. Actually celebrated a week later by getting very drunk with a bunch of friends in a bar

20) What has been your favorite moment? I don't have this kind of ability to introspect
21) What's something you learned about yourself? Um...I'm actually not horrible at working in an office
22) Any new additions to your family? Pete the kitten!
