1. Any Other Way

Iker cued up the movie as Sergio gathered the snacks; a bowl of popcorn and beer. He smiles at the Sevillan as he grabs his beer and pets the spot beside him on the sofa. Sergio settles in slouching some so that his head rests on Iker’s shoulder. Iker reaches to smooth silky chestnut hair so that it no longer tickles his neck; Sergio hums as he lets his fingers rake through the tresses before settling around Sergio’s shoulder. They started the movie and his gypsy snuggled closer. By the time the credits roll around Sergio had fallen asleep along with Iker’s arms, shifting enough to have dumped half the popcorn into Iker’s lap. The older man sighs but he had a fond smile on his face because he wouldn’t have it any other way.

2. Sunny Side Up

Iker woke up to the smell of coffee and bacon. Instinctively his arm reached out to the other side of the bed finding it empty but still slightly warm. He turned his face into the other pillow inhaling the musky scent with a sleepy smile before climbing out of bed. He pulled on a pair of sweats and followed the smells to the kitchen. Iker is greeted by the sight of Sergio wearing nothing but a pair of boxer-briefs (Iker’s) flipping an egg on the skillet. Sensing Iker’s presence he turns around with a sunny smile.

“Good morning, captain.”

Iker returned the greeting and walked over for a kiss. Sergio tasted of coffee and Spain and Iker let out an appreciative hum. Sergio indicated the table where a steaming cup of coffee sat at his spot, he went and sat down and a moment later Sergio placed a plate filled with bacon and eggs in front of him.

“Serge, we shouldn’t be eating this stuff.”
“Iker we’re champions! We won the Copa del Rey yesterday we deserve some bacon.”

Iker saw the trophy in his mind’s eyes, felt the cold lips of Cibeles under his and decided that a little bacon wouldn’t hurt.

3. Come With Me

He was his gypsy; his only ties the ones he made and family. Iker always thought half the reason he was a footballer was so he could always be moving; on the field, from stadium to stadium, never stagnant. His heart was madridista white but his soul was wild and free. He looked at Iker with big brown eyes and promises of passionate adventures. There might not be a set path but each step had meaning wherever might happen. He had held out his hand and Iker swallowed his fear and took it.

4. Habits

There were times that living with Sergio Ramos had its difficulties. Like when Iker had to spend ten minutes sorting through various toiletries just to find his shaving cream. It had gotten to the point once that he had simply stopped shaving and eventually Sergio had organised the bathroom designating one side of the counter for Iker’s things. There was also the fact that flamenco music could be found pouring out of the sound system at any hour of the day. Sergio had various quirks and habits that were vastly different thank Iker’s own. Yet when he woke up with the younger man snuggled in close, their legs tangled together something as menial as odd habits really didn’t matter.

5. Open Arms

The first time Sergio had invited him to his family dinner Iker had been nervous. Iker didn’t doubt that family was the single most important thing in his life. He feared Sergio’s mom would dislike him, that Sergio would leave him because of it. It didn’t matter how many times Sergio told him that his mother already loved him he was still nervous. When they got there Sergio walked right in finding his mom in the kitchen. Iker trailed behind meekly but Pacqui wiped her hands on her apron and folded Iker in a maternal embrace welcoming him into the family with a “You’re too thin, hijo. I’ll get you some tapas, sit."
