i ♥ this scene, but what huddy doesn't? in a related note, did anyone else not get this particular exchange? i've listened to it several times, but i don't understand his reply and why they smirk. anyone want to enlighten me?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's what it means. Normally she would argue with him and explain either why it's not truly 'quitting' or why it makes sense to quit, but instead she just agreed with him.

I don't think it was delivered (or written?) all that well; I definitely didn't get it the first time around and most fans afterward seemed to question what was meant. I did like how he was able to make her smile in that moment, even if it was only half-hearted. :)

I'm still not getting it, and I've watched this scene a dozen + times. Going to have to mull over it later, but I'm glad the discussion has come up.

Though, on a side note, I disagree that it wasn't delivered or written very well - I think it's all the more effective in that we don't quite understand it, but they seem to. In other words, another example of how H/C belong together because they just know each other *that* well.
