Oh my goodness, you have no idea. I am so happy I am out of middle school (and that makes it sound like I just got out, haha). I helped with the 8th grade orientation today, and I can't believe I was ever like that, and I'm pretty sure I wasn't. Of course I would say that now, though. They are just so loud and rude, crazy.
Today I learned a way to make the recycling program even more effective, and I'm really psyched about it. Apparently, TARC recycles the same materials we do at the high school, but they get paid for it. So, I get to talk with this person tomorrow and figure out how to arrange it. It just feels so much better knowing we aren't just taking it to some place, tossing it into a bin, and then throwing away the bags.
You know what's sad, when you force yourself to do work for one thing so you can procrastinate another. My parents were about to make me do something I'm pretty sure I should be working on, but, instead I essentialy lock myself in my room and do homework... all evening. Not kidding, for 4.5 hours I was doing homework/practicing, and I'm still not done with either. Plus, who knew you actually had tests in Film & Lit?
