i'm huge, some how...mebbe it's just the caliber of folk that are also on the sound click site...but somehow i wound up ranking on the "alternative country" charts. yesterday i was at 22, but sadly today i've slipped back to 25. beaten out by dennis mcelroy and bernie lamb who's song is called "dixie's daughter"
ah well, the really astounding bit is that the song has been played on 115 different computers, and 21 folk have downloaded it.... which i didn't expect.
as an experiment in yankee pride i urge you all to go to
http://www.soundclick.com/bands/2/ahasverusmusic.htm both for your own enjoyment and edification but also if you feel so inclined cast a vote for the song, either "hot" or "flop".
of course i will understand if you decide you can't vote the song "hot" with good conscience. but remember, much like this years election you're not voting for to leave and come back again, you are voting against "dixie's daughter"
i just found out when i make it to pensecola i'll be able to get a saw track laid down for a song or two thanks to
skixpxtown does any one have any suggestions for free, preferably opensource recording software for a first run ibook? the less space it takes up the better.
i think i've found workable plans for making a microphone out of a telephone receiver, the only trouble is figuring out how to get it plug into one of the limited ports i have available on the mac... it might be possible to make a wireless type set up...but that's out of my legue...
ah well. take care.
