It's really sad
when you are thrilled to hear an automated voice say: "The expected wait time for this call is less than 30 minutes" *Sigh* attempting to enroll in dorm payment plan so I can be in the dorms... woot... will need to pay half of the bill... which is insanity. Have become trendy again as MJ would put it: I am drinking vitaminwater and eating Fritos... ah New York. Have decided to like it for right now, yesterday was not such a day. People walking.... SLOWLY ACKKKK! My impatient streak is still intact after a month being Southern polite and slow. Not that southern anything is bad... oh yay my wait time is less than 25 minutes!!! I was riproaring mad when it exceeded 30 minutes...
School starts next week.. and I am suddenly thinking of altering my english class... fuck it if I am going to do english I want to love it... not do english historical literature!! My sis, MJ and Aneil all started school today... I think. Is today Monday? Its really scary when you can't remember the days of the week. Gotta call Tanyka tonight and see how she is doing. OH! Gotta call Shawn when this call is over and chill for a bit. He is working with this girl about her resume...I rejected an offer to go out to Jersey to see his sister and her life partner's gorgeous house because I wanted to get two things done. Work authorization (done. woooottt) dorm payments (gulp) less than 20 minutes yeah! I hate the phone so this is a lesson in patience and phone etiquette... yup. And the fact that I need to type a random lj entry in order to occupy my hands means nothing at all. Nothing. nope. I hope to GOD no one comes into the office needing assistance... two people already have and I was hopelessly inattentive and yelling for Ahmed who dude... is going to be on my floor in the dorms this year if I can get this to work.
Cathy...you are a lifesaver. I know I spaz a lot... should be my nickname come to think of it rather than the inane abba dabba crap I get. Ooookayy random guy walking back and forth in front of office door staring at me... Will busily chomp on Fritos and drink vitaminwater (lemonade flavor.. first time i have had it yum!) Anyway I will probably not do the LSATs for all that it gives me options... my next opportunity is Dec so I dunno... that could so change. LESS THAN 15 MINUTES!! shit... someone is coming into the office.. TEN MINUTES!!! okay.. he wanted a newspaper.. phew. Note to self... copious amounts of liquor for this semester.
