I stayed at the Die Nasty - Soap a Thon improv marathon from 6pm on Friday when it began until 2am on Sunday. I was awake and watching somebody perform for that entire range. I believe I could have stayed onsite and awake for the entire 53 hour event, but as I had access to a ride home AND was beginning to notice the lack of nutrition and cleaning facilities I figured it wasn't worth the hassle staying. I'm now showered and will shortly be headed to a (once again better-appreciated) comfortable bed.
I might head by tomorrow for part of the time, but as the event doesn't wrap up until 11pm on Sunday night, that would have some impact on sleep for Monday - especially considering I'm a little behind now.
As per the improv.....I'm impressed. They have quite a few good performers who are very entertaining. I'll probably try attend a few more (couple hour standard length) events over the course of this fall and winter.
