The Aftermath... 黄城夜韵2008
3 months... 3 plays... 3 performances... 3 谢幕s... and it all ended yesterday... lost in a sense of emptiness and lack of purpose now... My feelings are in a mess now... theres satisfaction... weariness... sadness.... happiness... emptiness... Happy that huangcheng was completed with almost no screw ups... satisfied that i have given my best for huangcheng... weary from the lack of sleep ... sad taht huangcheng is finally over and that i would never ever get another chance to stand on vt's stage and sing 唱一首华初的歌... emptiness cause i seem to have lost all purpose in life... for the past 3 mths... the only thing that kept me going was huangcheng... but now... i feel no more motivation to go on... the closest happiest thing i can look forward to is uni life... but before that theres As and ns.. sighs...
为了黄城，流再多汗再多血都无所谓。。。
Really glad that i chose huangcheng as my cca last yr... Though being in dao ju, most ppl dun even noe what we do, e.g. some ppl think we bought the castle set from outside =.="... but still... just hearing the audience go woooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwww.... when the curtains open for wan... it was satisfaction enough...
two years in huangcheng, i've learnt so much... i've done so much stuff that i've never done before... e.g. rigging the castle onto the flybar 2 metres++ above the ground... chionging round backstage searching for missing daoju... insane fanning of daoju to make it dry on time... rushing out with the ladder, painting the castle and clearing the stage in 10 mins... fixing daoju in the backstage... trying to attach two tiny castles to one large castle using insane amounts of wood... somehow, even though we were like the most meng saikang warriors, i think i'll miss those days the most lor...

thankyou... thankyou to everyone who made huangcheng a success... though for the audience, its may just be a single handclap... but for us, the handclap is the recognition of our effort... the best reward that we can get...
To all daoju members, though i might not noe some of you very well, but this i noe, each and every one of us played our part in making huangcheng a success... though each of us might only be one person in the mass of ppl in dao ju, dao ju would not have been so fun nor so imba if anyone was missing...
