Greetings,
It started drizzling lightly as I was walking home after having some nice Ravioli Carbonara at Mama Nostra. Approaching a street light, I decided to hold up my thumb in front of the yellow light, just so that it’d be enough to block the light, but leave a beautiful halo of orange. In that orange, I could see the drizzle coming down beautifully, trickling in a manner that made it seem almost like a beautiful snowfall. I honestly could’ve stood there all night and gazed at that lovely light sprinkle. Nature is a beautiful artist. All we have to do is stop and take time to notice its subtle works of artistry.
And to top it all off, the rain was light, allowing the raindrops to be easily brushed off my shirt with a single stroke of my hand. So, the movie, the pasta, and the rain made for a splendid night. Not a bad last weekend before school starts.
I hope all is well with everyone,
Abe.
