In that case, the swan could not speak, so it learned to play a trumpet. This is easily overcome, as demonstrated by this textbook example. A boutenniere deformity, however, is far more serious. This is when a plant will only grow a stem long enough for a boutonniere. these flowers can therefore only be used for weddings and proms, and quincenieras in California and other places with large hispanic populations. This term can also refer to a man with an extremely short phallus--it mimics the length of a stem on a flower in a boutonniere. Thus, as you can see, a far more serious condition in either of its manifestations, and the swan neck deformity is much easier to circumvent
