Personality: Edward is the typical Austen/Bronte-esque hero. He uses a bit of old-fashioned language, and he is extremely proper. His manners are superb, and he can be rather eloquent when he needs to be. Though, he can be reclusive as well, and he also has a nasty temper. He appears to be a big, tough guy, and he comes across that way to most people, but he always feels terrible after shouting at someone or giving a student a bad grade. Also, Edward is TERRIBLE with speaking with women he likes. He tends to clam up and fumble for words. And if he can’t find the right words, he simply blushes and turns away. He hates himself for that. But otherwise, he is calm and stern and extremely professional.
Edward is also a true romantic at heart, though. In both ways. He’s a romantic in that he appreciates nature and enjoying a fine walk in the woods. He’s also a romantic in the sense that he craves a healthy and strong relationship. Edward would also be the first to deliver flowers and chocolate to a woman he loves on Valentine’s Day, or her birthday, for instance. Even if he is awkward about it. -.-
Physical Description: Standing at a tall height of 6'2", Edward is rather intimidating at first glance. His hair is tidy, black, and always done for the occasion. He always dresses nicely, because that’s how he was brought up, and sometimes it might appear that he fell right out of the 1800s. That’s only if he REALLY wants to wear a cravat. Edward’s eyes are calm and sincere, almost a radiating blue, usually scowling in focus when he reads. He also wears reading glasses, but he thinks they make him look much older than he is, so you’ll rarely find him wearing them.
