Merry Christmas!
Today was excellent. Seriously couldn't be better.
Last night we went to my g'mas and got presents, then to church, then to my other grandparents and got more presents (the traditional xmas eve pajamas).
After we got home we layed in bed for awhile. Yes, WE, supposeduly I can't mention names because some people are just way too nosy and like to assume/find out whats going on in OTHER people's business...key word, OTHER people's business.
So as we lay in bed, we talked..for a long time. Everything is perfect now...well not perfect, but they are to the point where it's going to work out. I have to say that some of it was my fault...my fault because I couldn't just say what I felt, for the sake of other people's feelings. But thats not right. I just need my life to be my life. I need to have fun, experience other things and meet other people. If I don't, I will only regret it in the long run. Who knows what will become of other things...or where I will end up, but if I don't pull away right now, I'm never gonna be happy...I'm always going to hold some sort of regret. You, however will NEVER leave my heart..we will always be friends. You assured me everything will be okay. You were my first love. That doesn't just go away, you know that. So know I love you..always will. But, I couldn't take always arguing...never having that initial spark and excitement. Time will bring it back. You are my friend no matter what..and I would still do anything for you. So thank you for the past 4 years..every minute of it. The bad comes with the good and all of it was an experience I won't forget, but will use to improve the future. I don't really know what else to say but I love you and thanks!
So that brings me to today..woke up way too early (but thats how it's always been on xmas morning). Opened presents for..3 hours. haha. Ate breakfast, took a nap, then a shower and the family started showing up. One thing I love about holidays is being Italian. Theres no better cooks than the italians..haha. We had baked ziti..manicotti..salad..meatballs..eggplant with rigotta chesse (YUM!)..ok so I don't even remember everything. But the food is the best part of the day, thats for sure! So then we open presents again and just sat around..played ping pong..ate dessert. Then we went down the street of lights. It's really sad how much it has demolished. I remember as a kid and in junior high completely looking forward to all the lights. I remember dancing at Lauren's house every night for a week straight and never getting sick of it. Now theres like 3-4 houses that don't even do anything and another 3-4 that do a half-ass job. Oh well, I never really was in the xmas spirit this year anyway..guess it comes with age. haha
So presents..
this year I wanted a big screen TV, so when I move out my apt doesn't look like a poor college students haha. So the other day my dad and I went to Best Buy to look at them. We looked for a whole...5 mins before HE fell in love with some $5,000 tv. So for the next HOUR he was talking to the guy about this TV..he then looks at me and was like "I can't leave without this TV". then..me being the stubborn/spoiled child I am was like "THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ABOUT ME!! YES ME THE PRINCESS AND RIGHT NOW IT'S NOW!" so my dad was like...well how about if I buy this TV and I give you the one in the family room. I was like NO this is supposed to be my xmas present. But, since I am the princess hahaha my dad said if he did that than i wouldn't have to worry about it being a xmas present, just a give-a-way. so i kinda gave in, considering that free'd up almost $2000 in presents haha. then there was the problem of not knowing what I wanted. I didn't really even give my parents any ideas, except the smaller gifts like perfumes, sunglasses, clothes, etc that we always get. They got me a digital camera and a shit load of money..which isn't bad. I seriously LOVE xmas.
Shopping tomorrow and 6 am with mom and dad...that menas more presents! =)
Tonight I'm probly gonna hit the sack early considering theres a full day of stores tomorrow..my mom and i are definetly professional shoppers..don't doubt us!
Didn't go to TX..thats ok though, got to relax. I will see you soon.
Looking forward to the next week of not having to wake up till whenever I want.
Damn this was a long entry. Anyways, hope everyone enjoyed their holiday.
