I love my job :)
wow. it was a crazyyyyy week! and I was really really tired cos of work but it really made me realize the impact of the work I'm doing.. the important role I can play in protecting children.. and it's really an indescribable feeling..
in these 8 months that I've worked in this line.. I've been amazed by the resilience of the children.. the inner strength they have.. the big heartedness of the children.. like how really amazing children can be.. and they reminded me of how the innocence shouldn't be robbed from them .. and how I really wanna ensure that every student has the opportunity to realize their fullest potential.. not just in academic..
and I really really love what I'm doing.. (although waking up early is still a pain) but it is a very rewarding job..
and this is what I cannot find from my previous job.. no doubt I had some satisfaction from there.. but not the same way I have now.. the paperwork I did would not smile back at me.. statistics may show I'm doing well but that are just numbers.. and whether u do well may be determined by ur boss and not just your work..
at least what I'm doing has direct impact and it really makes me happy from within.. :)
and one girl just made me really happy when she said "you are a good counsellor as you know how to entertain children. I want to be a counsellor when I grow up!" *blissful sigh*
and all the girls who show their appreciation for what you do.. a simple thank you from parents.. feedback from parents that their girls feel comfortable with me.. :) just really wonderful.. :)
and gonna recharge during this one week break! haha it's gonna be a busy term 4 so must rest more! :)

haha also had awesome social activities.. haha museum (restaurant?) hopping with OLs, meetups with various friends, and a very cute ktv session.. keke! and dinners with family as well.. :)
very contented!!!
